The children resumed back after a long break during to COVID 19 lockdown, upon resumption, the children were automatically promoted to their new classes. Meeting their classmates and new teacher after a very long break was an awesome experience for them and the school as a whole. There were lots of experiences to share among themselves despite lots of restriction placed by the government; it was still moments of joy and excitements. Our major focus this term was to bring the children to meet up with expectations academically, physically, spiritually and morally. All hands were on deck as we set the ball rolling. To the glory of God, we attained excellence in all our academic activities. All our old and new pupils’ experienced outstanding academic excellence, There is great improvement in their reading, speaking, reasoning, mathematical and creative skill backed up with our uncompromised moral standard; our children are being nurtured and set on their path to greatness. We appreciate your commitment to their assignments and project work. God will empower you to do more and he will bless you with good rewards in Jesus name. Amen.
EXAMINATION
The first term examinations were successfully conducted. The pupils exhibited great sense of responsibilities during this period. We implore our parents to encourage their children to develop the right study habit which should be displayed on a daily basis even before the examination.
HADASSAH’S GRACE ACADEMY’s PARENTS’ TEACHERS’ FORUM
It has been observed that some parents don’t attend PTF. We therefore implore you to always be present to represent your child and be part of the decision making process as it relates to all round improvement of your ward(s) who is either in preschool or in basic class.
BIBLE CLUB: This club started because we believe the word of God has the ability to increase the children in wisdom, understanding and knowledge. It can also help prune the children of some habits that can affect their relationship with others and total development. The club takes place every Friday 10:00am – 11:00am prompt. Kindly get your ward(s) a copy of the bible for this purpose.
PUNCTUALITY CULTURE: we wish to use this medium to communicate to all our parents our desire to raise children that will take punctuality seriously. As a school, we are aware that time is life and we don’t want it wasted. In the coming term, parents/guardians should ensure that their ward(s) get to school before 7:45am. All pupils should attend the assembly. Lateness to school is not tolerable. Pupils with the habit of coming late will be made to face disciplinary measure. We equally plead with you to be punctual at all our meetings/forum.
LUNCH PACK: Sequel to the PTA meeting held on Saturday 5th December, 2020. We urged parents to get a good food flask for their ward(s) to keep the food fresh and warm till lunch time and water bottle. Going forward, the school will not accept food brought in at a later time for their ward(s) as it causes distraction.

PAYMENT OF SCHOOL FEE
School fees assist us in logistics before the beginning of a new term. It helps us to achieve our target with ease. Please note that, it is charged termly, it is non refundable neither is it negotiable. We urged parents to pay their ward(s) fee during the holiday which is before resumption or at most, two weeks after resumption date. We appreciate all of you for your quick response to payment of tuition and other fees. We pray that God will enlarge your financial coast for this purpose. Amen.
In the event of a delay in the payment of school fee after the expiration of the two weeks grace, such parents are expected to visit the school in person to see any of the school heads, send message or make phone calls to negotiate a more realistic date.
The school frowns at situations where children are sent home before parents who have not paid their children’s school fee will come up with reasons why school fees has not been paid several weeks after resumption. We plead with parents who indulge in such to make necessary amends as the school does not like a situation where children are sent home for nonpayment of school fee since the security, punctuality and concentration of our students are paramount to us.
In addition, when payments are made into the school account, parents are expected to notify the school office by making available evidence of payment of school fee such as tellers, alert notifications, and any other evidence at their disposal for confirmation so that the receipts can be issued immediately.

SECURITY
Considering the spate of insecurity in the country, let us all be security conscious; let us not allow strangers have access to our children as this could hamper their safety. Kindly introduce to the school properly who should drop and pick your ward(s). In cases of circumstances beyond your control kindly call the school to give necessary instruction. God will continue to keep and protect all our children in Jesus name Amen.
GENERAL INFORMATION TO PARENTS:
ILLNESS: If a child appears to be unwell before school, parents should make arrangements for the child to remain at home or be cared for in the hospital. The school should be well informed.
HOMEWORK: Parents are encouraged to take an active interest in homework and to assist when necessary. Also we urged you to help ensure that books sent home should be properly handled by closely monitoring the children while attempting their homework. Homework, provided it is approached correctly by your child, should not intrude unduly on leisure activities.
TOYS: Children’s toys, unless specifically asked for by a teacher, should be kept at home. It is difficult sometimes for children to care for these properly at school and the chance of breakage is high.
WATER: Drinking water is essential for keeping the brain and body hydrated for learning. Pupils are asked to bring water in a plastic bottle and the school will ensure they drink enough water.
CUTLERIES: Parents should ensure their ward(s) come to school with cutleries as the school will not be providing.
